Gaye Doganoglu, (Turkey, EPP/CCE), political coordinator of the Democracy Week presented the ELDW project at the 21st meeting of the Council of Europe Network of Coordinators for Citizenship and Human Rights Education (Baku, 20-21 May 2014), and took active part in the discussions, which focused on the topics of children in vulnerable situation and the development of competences for democratic culture and intercultural dialogue. As an outcome of the meeting, the participating Heads of Education Departments of the member countries put together a package of proposals for improving the integration of and the knowledge of children in vulnerable situation in schools.
