Grant opportunity for building active citizenship made available by ALDA!

Local authorities and civil society organisations from Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Slovakia and the Netherlands are offered an extraordinary opportunity by the European Association for Local Democracy. ALDA opened a call for proposals for related activities and events which aim at promoting good governance and citizen participation at local level in Europe, thus contributing to ALDA’s goals, as well as the mission of the European Local Democracy Week. The events financed from the sub-grant should take place from 1 October to 31 December 2015, and thus can also be linked with the official ELDW 2015 (12-18 October). Local authorities and CSOs from the eligible countries are welcome to submit their proposals to Aldo Xhani, Coordinator of the Citizenship Programme (aldo.xhani@aldaintranet.org), by 30 September 2015.
